Hear ye, Hear ye- In these matters (corruption, etc.) History repeats itself, only the players change.

Thank you for taking of your time to respond and explain your reasoning. I don’t disagree with altruistic goals. I do however feel that one who is a practicing Orthodox Jew must follow the dictate of the Torah in all areas. The Torah has definitive laws and direction of how rebuke should be administered. Additionally, chazal teach that one must beautify themselves prior to beautifying others. I am not a Rabbi and this is not the appropriate venue to engage in Torah study. I am happy to either study or find someone to study Torah with any Jewish individual (A Jew is anyone born of a Jewish mother). I do however remind you that if I or anyone has a halachic question they must ask an authentic posek. Additionally, if one finds himself in a dispute the Torah mandates that it be taken to a Jewish court of law known as a bais din. The prohibition for doing otherwise has severe consequences. Thanks for reading.

Avrohom, as a general matter and not commenting specifically on the case or the Plaintiffs, the case is shielded from public so this is only about the blog. A financial crime has ripple effects. For example, again unrelated, a person manipulates the price of shares in a company or gets others to invest in a falsely valued asset it not only hits the person who invested but everyone who trusts the integrity of the markets. It can change the way an entire class of assets is viewed. That’s dangerous for our entire financial system. It hurts families. A person (again unrelated) owns a nursing home, doesn’t have enough staff so the elderly are getting improper care and then misreports to Medicaid, not only are the elderly hurt by substandard care but their families and those that follow, other caregivers, grandchildren, everyone gets hurt. In most cases, again a non-related comment, these are Jews harming other Jews and everyone else. Not only does that invite anti-Semitism by breeding resentment but what world are we leaving for our children? By Satmar standards, im not even a Jew. But having been to the camps, Auschwitz and Birkenau, finding names of family, I am very much a Jew. I’m second generation from survivors and I don’t take my obligation to leave the world a little better lightly. I think if we all band together we can change things for everyone. I see it as the reason why my grandparents survived while many of their brothers and sisters perished.

I fail to understand why someone without vested interest wants to expose others unless we are discussing abuse? If a corrupt business man gets jailed, his spot will simply be filled by another!

Please respond respectfully and intellectually if you care to have dialogue.

The Lakewood Shvitzers are getting undressed by all of these cans of worms being opened.

The chilul Hashem is of a # 10 Magnitude earthquake, R”L.

Reb Kalman was taken because of “mipnei hu’ruh, nesaf Ha’tzadik”.

Did you notice how he writes his number 7?
He puts a strike through the 7.

The 7th commandment, he does not accept.
